DocuSign CLM and eSignature to Retire Internet Explorer (IE) 11
DocuSign is removing eSignature and CLM support and availability within the IE11 web browser on the following dates:
- February 15, 2022: IE11 support ended for eSignature
- April 1, 2022: IE11 support ended for CLM
- May 18, 2022: IE11 will no longer be available for eSignature and customers will need to update to a supported browser.
- June 1, 2022: IE11 will no longer be available for CLM and customers will need to update to a supported browser.
Why is this change happening?
This change comes after Microsoft announced the end of support for Microsoft 365 applications and services on IE11, beginning August 17, 2021.
What action do I need to take?
For customers using the IE11 web browser to access their CLM and eSign accounts, action is required to update to a supported web browser.
- eSignature users need to update no later than May 18,2022—the retirement date.
- CLM users need to update no later than June 1, 2022—the retirement date.
See these lists for CLM and eSignature supported browsers, including the new Microsoft Edge with IE mode.
What will happen if I do not migrate to a supported browser?
Action is required to update to a supported browser no later than May 18 or June 1 respectively. At that point, users will be unable to login to their DocuSign CLM or eSignature accounts via the IE11 web browser.
