Developer Spotlight: Frederic Bard, Finastra

Frederic Bard is a Software Engineer on the Platform Services Team of Finastra, the world’s third-largest Fintech company and one of DocuSign's amazing partners. He is the lead developer on a project called eSign Export, which integrated DocuSign into several Finastra products. He developed a “DocuSign gateway” that accepts an HTTP request (with a payload in XML format) from any Finastra application. He integrated DocuSign into Finastra's products (from initial proof of concept to production rollout) by using the DocuSign eSignature REST API and C# SDK in less than one year by adopting an Agile methodology. Frederic's team is already working on the next version of the DocuSign gateway by gathering feedback from clients. One feature already on the list is embedded signing.

Frederic came to the US in 2008 from France. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He lives in Fort Collins, CO, where he enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains, running, hiking, cycling, and mountain biking.

He's a developer at heart, and enjoys the fact that software development is very versatile. Since graduating, he has gone from working on an airplane Flight Management System, to Marine Navigation software, to a financial software leader in the industry.
