This position
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across multiple teams in CS and across organizations at DocuSign and our clients. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and a clear understanding and experience in dealing with Saas implementations. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to the Regional Delivery Manager within our Professional Services organization and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall client relationship, have full command of the client business model, and is considered a trusted advisor by the client
  • Cultivate and manage highly functional teams comprised of DocuSign and client resources through all phases of the Cloud deployment process
  • Responsible for the project success that are on time and on budget
  • Manage scope creep and the change order process as needed to amend agreed upon scope
  • Communicate effectively to swivel between business and technical conversations to ensure that there is mutual alignment across all teams
  • Establish and run executive level steering committee meetings
  • Ensure operational success and execution by establishing and managing project governance and communication
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Leverage a solid understanding of the Agreement Cloud product suite in order to validate key design options and present proposal solutions to all levels of client management
  • Ensure high quality solution designs and implementations by driving adherence to DocuSign’s implementation methodology
  • Engage with customers on additional requirements and business needs and proactively define, scope and sell follow work
  • Client facing experience in additional capacities such as sales, account management and customer support
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of full lifecycle professional services implementation experience
  • 6 years of experience delivering large scale implementations with global enterprise companies
  • 6 years of experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
  • 6 years of experience scoping professional services engagements, writing proposals and developing change orders
  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills, both verbal & written: Native-level Portuguese, business-level English and Spanish
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as ECM, Document Management, Contract Management, or BPM systems
  • Ability to interact with and influence all levels from ICs to executives
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • Proven risk management, issue resolution, and change control proficiency
  • Proven risk management, issue resolution and change control experience
  • Proven management, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent at articulating vision and planning execution of projects
  • Strong client management and executive level communication skills
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
  • Outstanding writing, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Saas products like Salesforce
