This position
The Lead Software Engineer role on the Administration team will be responsible for helping define and build a Platform for Administrative Services across the DocuSign Agreement Cloud. A successful person in this role will have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude to learn and share. This person enjoys working in a fast-paced agile environment, cares about their decisions, and is focused on quality driven development. This role is on the forefront of our expansion efforts as the admin team is focused on helping customers manage their DocuSign Agreement Cloud.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director Software Engineering – Platform Administration and is designated Flex.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features to help both internal and external customers manage their DocuSign Agreement Cloud
- Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test
- Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
- Fix Production issues and maintain the code as needed
- Work with internal stakeholders to define and execute a multi-year roadmap to build a scalable framework for Administration
Basic qualifications
- BS in CS, EE or equivalent
- 12+ years of hands-on software development experience in C# / Java / C++
- Experience in building large-scale, highly available and reliable applications
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Stack
- Experience with operating system internals, database internals, file systems, and networking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and demonstrated technical leadership ability
- Proficiency working with algorithms, data structures and production troubleshooting
