The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team partners with some of the largest,most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.
This position
The Market Development Manager is responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Market Development Reps, ensuring best in class execution of sales development programs. You will tactically implement programs aligned to the pipeline generation requirements of the Commercial Sales Organization in EMEA.
Reporting to the senior MDR team manager EMEA, you will strive to enable your team in the execution of lead qualification activities. You will drive pipeline generation programs through collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations and cross-functional teams. You are highly motivated, a people, operational and data-oriented manager.
This position a people manager role reporting to Director, MDR and is designated Flex.
Responsibilities
- You will take ownership of the delivery of the pipeline requirements for the supported region. Demonstrate a set of demand generation activities to meet defined regional pipeline generation targets.
- You will partner with the recruitment team to hire and onboard new talent for the sales team.
- Support and encourage the personal development plans for each team member
- Drive structured and consistent mentorship to the team (Sandler Sales Methodology)
- Ensure that the team is enabled on campaigns, promotions and messaging (industry and competitive) to targeted industries, segments and accounts.
- Performance management - engage your sales development team in relevant demand generation actions through consistent communication and results analysis.
- SFDC lead queue management, reporting and data analysis to anticipate issues
- Promoting the best use of demand generation tools within sales teams and sharing best practice between countries and teams [i.e. Outreach, Eloqua, SFDC].
Basic qualifications
- You have a proven track record in managing, leading and mentoring a team of sales representatives in a sales environment - Marketing, Operations or Sales Development
- Fluency in English a requirement, additional European language an advantage but not essential
- Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools
- You are a strong networker, a natural relationship builder, with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- Capable of networking across the company and to build and manage cross-functional virtual teams.
- You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and quantitative approach to solving problems.
- Professional with strong planning and analytic skills. Project management expertise an advantage.
- Proactive, creative and innovative thinker, you constantly generate new ideas for driving and supporting divisional priorities through Sales Programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required. Salesforce.com experience an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, typical about 10%
