This position
DocuSign is looking for Lead full-stack Software Engineer to join our development team in Seattle. This position will be part of a team working on DocuSign's Agreement Cloud UX platform that is responsible for hosting all of DocuSign's UX code. Additionally, this team is modernizing the deployment pipelines to enable development teams to innovate across their feature stack while doing so in the safest ways possible. This position will demand critical thinking, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in an agile environment. The ability to take educated, but calculated, risks is essential to the success of this position.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Directory of Engineering and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

• Be open minded, forward-thinking, and passionate about writing rock-solid software
• Solve problems at scale and develop fault-tolerant systems
• Develop testable, high-quality, and ship-ready code with ample test coverage
• Work with Product Management and other development teams to understand their needs for the platform
• Be involved with the design, not just code to a spec
• Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products

Basic qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 12+ years of professional development experience
• Experience working with C#, Go, Java, and other modern server-side languages

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with UX development (TypeScript, React)
• Experienced building/consuming RESTful web-services in resilient ways
• Directly involved with designing and developing highly available services
• Strong understanding of network stack
• Experience in low-level performance optimization (memory/CPU profiling)
• Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), build process, testing, and code release
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your own time
• Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
• Ability and desire to move across technology stacks fluently and easily
• A passion to learn new software technologies

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $150,300 - $186,700 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
