The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team’s partner with some of the largest most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.
This position
As an SMB Salas Manager you will identify new customers, creative ways to drive more businesses to purchase & utilise DocuSign’s diverse solution suite. This position is a People Manager and reports to the RVP, Commercial Sales.
Responsibilities
- Daily management and leadership of a French Account Executive (AE) SMB sales team
- You'll develop & execute upgrade/renewal process & strategies and ensures compliance to internal data management & reporting including use of Salesforce.com
- You'll assess sales activities & forecasts to determine sales progress & required improvements
- You'll recommend & implement improvements to reach sales goals
- You'll coach salespeople to develop their sales skills including vertical market management, forecasting, prospecting within account base, negotiations, & other necessary skills; while maintaining individual accountability to goals
- You'll maintain/protect DocuSign by hiring culturally aligned team members & leading by example
- You'll contributes in complex negotiations & the closing of the new business, including appropriate use of Senior Sales & Commercial Executives to maximize results
- You'll work with each AE to develop & implement vertical-wide business & sales plans to achieve sales quota
- You'll ensure the team effectively leverages sales tools & systems consistently & in alignment with Rules of Engagement
- You'll communicate & prioritize product & business needs from the field to appropriate corporate departments
- You'll Identify & support opportunities for the training & professional development of your team.
- You'll operate well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision
Basic qualifications
- Fluency in both English and French
- BA/BS degree in a business or a technical related field of study
- Software sales experience in both an individual contributor and management role
- Proven track record of successfully managing high performing software sales teams
Preferred qualifications
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
- Attracting, retaining, and developing high performing, high potential talent through assessing, selecting, onboarding, coaching, and developing
- Managing multi-tiered customer relationships; demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to collaborate with business partners across Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Business Development and Channels to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategy
- SaaS based document workflow application experience
- Strong forecasting and reporting capabilities
- Relentless focus on customer success
- Competitive, optimistic, strong work ethic, humility, and excellent communication skills
