This position
The Senior Software Engineer on the Environment Management team will be responsible for high-volume, low-latency Setting Services. Your goal would be to help build a product-agnostic, secure, and highly scalable service responsible for storing settings for hundreds of millions of users. The Setting Service is a fundamental part of the DocuSign ecosystem, used by numerous applications across the globe in an environment with 5 9’s availability. The Environment Management team works in an accountable atmosphere that is self-driven, passionate and creates quality features. A successful person in this role will have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude to interact with multi-teams, learn and share. You will be part of a team of great engineers that enjoys working in a fast-paced agile environment, cares about their decisions, and are focused on quality-driven development. This role is key to our fast-paced revenue growth as the Environment Management team is focused on the process to upsell and onboarding new customers.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test
• Work with a team of Software Engineers to create monitoring/observability frameworks for a variety of cross-applications flows
• Work with internal teams to understand their requirements for monitoring, incident notification, and data visualization
• Demonstrates creative and useful ways of solving problems and finding solutions using programming languages, best practices and/or tools
• Raise issues proactively that might impact the business success
• See upcoming unexpected behavior and drives to solutions before they become problems
• Debug complex issues found in production between multiple systems or services

Basic qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years professional experience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns in a .NET/C# environment
• Excellent problem-solving, automated tests, debugging, and communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• Directly involved in the design and operation of large-scale cloud services
• Experience in cloud technologies, Docker and Kubernetes, microservices architecture
• Experience in working in an agile development environment
• Experience with git, continuous integration, and deployment tools
• Experience building complex, scalable applications
• Experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $130,800 - $184,800 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits at https://www.docusign.com/company/benefits.
