The team
Our Sales Operations team is responsible for building the most efficient sales and business development organization. We translate data into actionable insights which inform and influence strategic goals and investment priorities for our sales organization.

This position
This position offers an exciting and high-visibility opportunity to partner with the Vice President of DocuSign Japan and their senior leadership team to crack the most important strategic problems, and influence the trajectory of DocuSign’s business in Japan.

This position reports in to Director, Sales Strategy & Operations, APJ and is designated as flex.

Responsibilities

  • Advise senior leaders of DocuSign Japan on growing and optimizing their businesses by making data-driven recommendations that help them achieve their long-term strategic priorities
  • Lead annual planning for the Japan business through data-driven recommendations (e.g. customer segmentation, headcount, financial and territory planning, quota setting)
  • Adapt global operational and strategic best-practices to fit the Japan market.
  • Track business drivers, trends and operating metrics and provide insights and recommendations to advise sales leadership on forecasting and day to day decisions
  • Lead ad-hoc projects with regional or global impact (e.g. Go-to-market strategy changes, process improvement, sales incentive design, forecast modeling)
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers and cross functional teams to achieve objectives
  • Support day-to-day operations including forecasting, pipeline analysis, and QBRs

Qualifications
This is a great opportunity for candidates with consulting, investment banking, finance, sales operations, or business operations experience to transition into an operating role within one of the fastest growing tech companies on the planet.

  • 6-10 years experience in strategy, consulting, or other relevant role with a demonstrated track record of influencing senior decision makers in complex and fast-paced environments
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese business environment
  • Ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Proficient with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Sales systems knowledge, preferably Salesforce, within the SaaS industry would be a plus
