The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team’s partner with some of the largest most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.

This position
The Sales Program team at DocuSign is hiring a Content Strategy Analyst to focus on standardized content creation and management practices with key teams across our organization as it relates to our Prospecting Engagement System of Action, Outreach.io.

In this role, you will be responsible for upholding global messaging strategies and empowering sales teams with effective outbound prospecting content strategies and frameworks. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams in order to ensure our sales messaging is reflective of the Docusign brand and our commitment to delivering the highest value to our prospects and current customers.

You’re an ideal candidate if you have experience in a quota-carrying customer-facing role and a thorough understanding of value proposition and authoring effective prospecting messages, and have a passion for collaboration across multiple teams and delivering impactful initiatives.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Pipeline Program Content Director and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a business partner and advisor on outbound prospecting content strategy and authorship best practices
  • Lead discovery and alignment meetings to develop tailored content strategies and sequence frameworks
  • Work closely with sales and marketing leaders to provide authorship guidance, governance, optimization and content management support
  • Act as liaison between Marketing and Sales to build cohesion in messaging strategy and workflows
  • Collaborate with the Content Strategy Director to determine approval status of new content requests and execute based on prioritization decisions
  • Lead project management of content roll-outs and rallying stakeholders to meet launch deadlines
  • Promote and execute on a standardized methodology for sequences and channels of communication that align to DocuSign brand preservation
  • Partner cross-functionally to analyze performance data and execute strategic A/B testing, communication channel optimization, and messaging cadence

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Development or Sales
  • 5+ years of proven experience driving sales engagement through messaging
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred qualifications

  • Outreach Admin Certification
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience building outbound prospecting messaging strategies
  • Program management experience in Sales or Marketing in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with Google Suite products ( slides, sheets, doc, etc.)
  • Experience with Smartsheets
  • Experience establishing, defining, and reporting operational metrics around content performance
  • Experience working cross functionally, across multiple projects and channels in a global organization
  • Resilient and resourceful when solving complex problems
  • Demonstrates critical analysis coupled with a proactive and positive approach
  • Experience influencing without authority in a matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Sales Engagement Platforms, preferably Outreach.io
  • Experience authoring effective sales content and prospecting through sequences
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills, including the ability to communicate to various levels of an organization
