This position
As a Windows DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Engineer at DocuSign, you will be responsible for setup, maintenance and ongoing deployment of continuous build/integration infrastructure, primarily for the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) product line. You will collaborate closely with members of the Infrastructure and Dev teams and assist with various projects to support CI/CD tools, and further develop and improve the CI/CD infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with administering CI/CD operations. They will also have solid experience with administering a system that requires no downtime, competent in administering Windows systems and competent in PowerShell. To be successful in the Windows DevOps CI/CD Engineer role you will need to partner with other members of the operations, engineering and QA teams. Some work outside of normal business hours will be required.

This position is individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, CLM and designated as Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain and support CI/CD pipelines that build and deploy proprietary software across multiple environments in a zero-downtime fashion and following change management processes
  • Perform daily responsibilities while supporting our Production environment as a top-priority to upkeep the company’s standard of 99.99% uptime
  • Assist in developing improvements to current processes to eliminate areas for manual intervention and reduce time to delivery of code
  • Work with members of the Release and Deployment team to troubleshoot and improve CI/CD operations
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule

Basic qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in CI/CD
  • 8+ years of experience in devops and/or windows system administration
  • Experience writing build and deployment scripts
  • Experience with version control (ex.Git, Bitbucket, subversion)
  • Experience with deployment tools (ex.ProGet, GoCD, Bamboo, Jenkins)
  • Experience with a virtualization solution such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Experience with change management principles and practices

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Candidate must be able to clear a government agency-specific background investigation and may be required to undergo additional background checks, including fingerprinting, drug testing, and/or other government-required investigations to obtain security clearance(s).

Preferred qualifications

  • A good understanding of software development principles
  • Experience supporting complex, distributed applications
  • Experience with configuration management systems, F5, IIS, and/or .NET environments highly preferred
  • Knowledge of technical writing principles and practices
  • Experience in an Agile/sprint-based work schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong attention to detail
  • Natural aptitude for teaching and ambitious to learn from others in a collaborative team

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $115,800 - $163,575 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits at https://www.docusign.com/company/benefits.
