This position
In this role, you will be an essential contributor on projects that are key to the company’s success. You will be responsible for ensuring quality of the services and APIs at DocuSign. You will be working with extremely passionate people who care about their customers and want to deliver solutions that improve customer productivity for complex workflows. The right candidate knows how to work in a fast-paced agile environment and brings an aptitude to learn and share.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager and is designated as Flex.
Responsibilities
- Write test plans and test cases for assigned features
- Identify incomplete or unclear feature definitions and work with stakeholders to address them
- Review feature specification and design for testability and proposing solutions
- Write maintainable and efficient automated tests within existing test framework structure (Ruby language)
- Perform continuous improvement of regression test assets
- Be a focused results-oriented team player
Basic qualifications
- 8+ years of industry experience within a software organization
- 8+ years of experience automating tests
- Ability to program in an industry standard language (Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Experience working on multiple projects and features in tandem
- Experience with writing test plans and test cases for assigned features
- Familiarity with testing APIs and/or SDKs
- Familiarity with full stack testing
Preferred qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of writing and maintaining test automation of web-based features and products
- Experience with Ruby, Selenium, WebDriver, HTML, Node and React/JS.
- Experience writing automated tests for web applications build on React/JS and Node
- Proficient in communicating quality metrics during a release cycle
- Experience using data and metrics to drive decisions
- Experience with continuous integration systems in the software lifecycle
- Willingness to assist other QA team members through brainstorming, mentorship and knowledge-sharing
