The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform how the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our teams’ partner with some of the largest most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.
This position
The Partner Development Representative (PDR) will co-sell with external partner Account Executives to secure sufficient flow of qualified partner opportunities for DocuSign account executives. The PDR is accountable for daily activity metrics, with monthly and quarterly quotas. PDRs will receive hands-on training with an emphasis on partner co-selling and a focus on penetrating targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals seeking to gain in-depth partner and direct sales experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.
This position reports to the Manager, Market Development.
Responsibilities
• Support our partner sales teams with qualified opportunities
• Build strong professional relationships with account executives within DocuSign’s partner ecosystem
• Develop sales strategy with our external partner sales teams to penetrate targeted accounts with innovative and scalable approaches
• Plan and execute quarterly in-person account planning and enablement meetings with partner sales team
• Efficiently use technologies such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn to research accounts, identify key contacts, and prospect to prospective customers
• Close deals, and help DocuSign Account Executives close deals, ensuring Business Development protocols followed, and contractual requirements met
Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS degree
• 2+ year relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years prior experience within a quota-carrying Inside Sales role, ideally selling software - to include prospecting, forecasting, and closing on net-new revenue
• Prior experience selling to or thru Partners would be advantageous
• Experience working within Salesforce as a CRM tool
• Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills, including problem-solving, attention to detail and technical acumen
• Demonstrated time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment, collaborating across cross-functional teams as needed
