The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team partners with some of the largest, most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.

This position
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead is a high impact role responsible for training and developing new sales representatives. This leader will enable, empower and motivate new SDRs to meet and exceed targets in conjunction with monitoring individual KPIs. This leader will provide strategic feedback and coaching as well as establish accountability towards goals attainment and business commitments.

This role is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Sales Development and is designated Flex.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with SDR Management to coordinate training and mentoring responsibilities
  • Train both Sandler and Challenger Sale methodologies
  • Maintain SDR resource library
  • Own and consistently develop existing onboarding and training techniques - Including training Inbound Call and Inbound Sales Chat SDRs
  • Introduce DocuSign product
  • Shadow and train new SDRs making outbound calls to prospects, including use of Salesforce CRM for data integrity and sales alignment
  • Train SDRs to utilize Outreach for sales engagement
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure consistently in training
  • Develop a cadence for 30-minute role play-heavy training sessions for reps
  • Develop reinforcement trainings
  • Be highly involved in SDR Spring and Summer Intern Program
  • Evangelize DocuSign core values through strategic leadership and collaboration across teams

Basic qualifications

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university

Preferred qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience, ideally within software
  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse, and occasionally unprecedented
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new, creative ways to drive motivation and production
