The team
Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team’s partner with some of the largest most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.

This Position
The Sales Development Program Manager is responsible for accelerating the effectiveness and output of the Sales Development team. Focused on the execution of systems and trainings of our newest Sales Development Reps (SDRs), Market Development Reps (MDRs) and Partner Development Reps (PDRs), this role is tactically focused on the ideation, creation, and delivery of a program aligned to maximizing the output of reps throughout their tenure.

This position is a strategic member of the management team that will require cross-functional collaboration with Sales Development leadership, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, and Marketing. It will require trend recognition, an understanding of learning and enablement, and a clear communication style that can transfer from 1:1s to group enablement sessions.

This position is an individual contributor role and reports to the Senior Director, Sales Development APJ.

Responsibilities

  • Improve the effective output of new hires through a focus on accelerating their time to full productivity
    • Build, iterate and deliver a program that brings reps to full knowledge in necessary skills such as internal software, sales methodologies and product
    • Partner with sales dev leadership to monitor and deliver trainings to new SDRs, MDR and, PDRs
    • Provide insight to management for delivery of each rep’s ramp period with the business
    • Lead all-team enablement sessions for the introduction of new sales, data and productivity tools and other updates
    • Work with leadership to identify and solve gaps in team skills
    • Analyse and interpret data to proactively make recommendations to improve productivity in the xDR organisation.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing, leading and mentoring a team of sales representatives in a sales environment - Marketing, Operations or Sales Development
• Strong proficiency in G-Suite and/or Office 365

Preferred Qualifications

  • Compelling storytelling, with the ability to leverage data to drive action, including for non--analytical audiences
    • Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools
    • Strong communication and influencing skills
    • Capable of delivering trainings to large groups
    • Extremely organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about sales success. Project management expertise is an advantage.
    • Proactive, creative and innovative thinker, constantly generating new ideas for driving and supporting divisional priorities through Sales Programs
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated and resourceful
    • Experience delivering sales training across Tools, Sales Methodologies and Operational Processes
