This position
The Partner Contract Operations Lead is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to build out partner contract templates and workflows supporting the partner business. The Lead manages our partner ecosystem contracts through their entire life cycle of evaluation, negotiation, execution to expiration including facilitating amendments to the contract. The Lead maintains operational excellence in managing multiple cross functional initiatives with internal stakeholders that will drive simplicity, increase value, ensure quality, and scale in support of a rapidly growing Org.

This role requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders (internally and externally) both orally and in writing. In addition, The Lead must be able to drive conversations and decisions across many of our internal organizations such as Legal, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, PS Operations, Sales and Business Development. This position requires a highly motivated individual that has strong accounting, operational and analytical skills and possesses an understanding of internal controls.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Partner Operations and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a leader of contract drafting, maintenance, and governance initiatives for partner contract templates
  • Manage contract revenue, forecasts, contract penetration and uptake
  • Perform Business Line Reviews for their assigned partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, increased contract compliance, and volume growth
  • Implement training on contracts management systems and policies
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the contract and respond to questions from Partner Account Managers, Legal and Operations function
  • Drive the day-to-day activities that support the execution of Contracting and Pricing strategy, inclusive of contract development (redlines, collaboration with Account Team, etc.) and contract adjudication
  • Maintain contract parameters within DocuSign contracting operational systems for Partner Program Contracts
  • Maintain and strengthen key relationships with Operations, Partner Sales, Accounting and Finance, Compliance, internal legal counsel, and other cross-functional groups and external partners
  • Identify opportunities continuously to streamline contracting operations, including both internal and external systems and processes

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years in legal operations or applicable experience
  • Experience with Contract Management Tools
  • Experience in creation and review of contractual verbiage
  • Knowledge of government and commercial contract types, terms, and processes

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience working with Spring/DocuSign CLM
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP platforms (such as Salesforce and Financialforce)
  • Experience working with large or mid-sized in-house legal departments
  • Ability to work in a matrix, enterprise organization with multiple systems
  • Produces a high volume of accurate deliverables with tight deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Ability to stand up new programs and enhance existing programs
  • Ability to direct and steer cross-functional teams and ensure quality and accountability
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight timelines and work with geographically distributed teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to drive conflict resolution

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $93,700 - $128,875 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits at https://www.docusign.com/company/benefits.
