This Position
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with a particular focus on the related back-end development while still taking on front- end tasks. You will be joining a team focusing on foundational areas within our Agreement Cloud roadmap. Some of your top priorities will be focusing on highly scalable and highly available microservices whilte at the same time working closely with the teams focusing on the user facing functionality.

This position is an Individual Contributor reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Performing development tasks within the team
• Being a part of solution and vision discussions in the team and in cooperation with the product stakeholders
• Securing key KPI’s of the product such as performance, scaling and upgradeability/maintainability
• Driving your own work and securing progress with own responsibility
• Component ownership for some of our technical components

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience within a software engineering related field.
• Front end and back end full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in modern server- side development using modern programming languages like JVM(Java/Scala), NodeJS, .NET or others.
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL
• Experience in development of the client side using modern tools like TypeScript, React, Angular, Webpack alongside with best practices for CSS and HTML5.
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Focus on writing high quality code that is easy to maintain and read by others.
• Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies
• Fluency in English both verbal and written
• Test and automation background

Preferred Qualifications

• Educated to Masters degree/PhD level in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Passion for new technologies
• Experience working for a SaaS company
• Experience in autonomous environment
• A track record of being a self-starter - Individual/team responsibility is our main driver in the development work.
• Practical experience with Cloud technologies: Kuberenetes, AWS, Azure etc.
• Experience in designing and implementing RPC protocols.
• Strong interest or documented experience in large scale microservice architectures
