This Position:
The Partner Onboarding & Development Manager (POD) supports the DocuSign Partner Ecosystem Team as our first line of contact - recruiting and onboarding partners, guiding their development, building their practice, and growing their success with DocuSign. They will work across multiple partner types, including System Integrators (SI), Independent Software Vendors (ISV), and Resellers. This position will be responsible for onboarding within the APAC region.

The Partner Onboarding & Development Manager is part of the Partner Experience Organization that rolls up to Customer and Partner Success Operations. PODs work cross-functionally with various departments and global teams including Partner Program Operations (PPO), Legal, Global Partner Solutions (GPS), Partner Solution Architects (PSA), Partner Account Management (PAM), Partner Global Alliances, Enablement, Sales, Marketing, and more. Quarterly priorities can include improving programs and processes, the success of managed partners, identifying high-growth focus partners, re-engaging inactive partners, driving attendance to events and webinars, driving engagement with training and certification, and leading campaigns to increase pipeline. Ongoing tasks include supporting our Partner Account Managers with strategic partners like SAP, Salesforce, and Workday.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Partner Programs and Experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new partners - get them registered for the DocuSign Tiered Partner Program and guide them to appropriate resources by partner type
  • Conduct partner onboarding webinars, training sessions, and 1:1 calls.
  • Serve as point of contact for partners, build trust, develop relationships internally and externally; lead with integrity and a “Partner First” attitude
  • Assist with APP reviews and integration development
  • Help partners effectively navigate and sign contracts, including non-disclosure agreements (NDA), Master Partner Agreements (MPA), Referral Agreements, and more.
  • Lead and Develop a go-to-market strategy with our business development, sales, partner success, and marketing teams
  • Qualify high potential/high growth partners for portfolio partner management
  • Manage quarterly projects/campaigns by applying project management best practices
  • Collaborate globally with internal and external partners to drive worldwide partner success
  • Manage a subset of high-growth potential partners to build their practice and help achieve higher levels within the DocuSign Partner Tiered Program
  • As needed, assist Partner in Discovery to ensure key requirements with product implications are understood

Basic qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience - preferably in a SaaS Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Professional Services, or Support role

  • Interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive: you can find and identify ways to build better processes and operations to support our partner experience
  • Management skills including leadership, autonomy, ownership, adaptability, self-motivation, highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, work well under pressure
  • Ability to work in a matrix, enterprise organization with multiple systems
  • An ability to manage multiple communication across multiple channels such as Slack, email, and phone
  • A track record of working compassionately and collaboratively with external partners or clients
  • A track record of working with cross-functional teams; particularly sales, finance, legal, and operations
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to be diplomatic in difficult situations
  • Ability to work remote-first in a rapidly scaling organization
  • Ability to lead strategy, build plans and execute and in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment
  • Self-starter with great time management skills and willingness to go the extra mile to get it done
  • Team player who can navigate ambiguity and change with enthusiasm and a sense of humor
