This position
As a Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Analytics and Visualization team, you will be responsible for building products and tools that query, collate, and display data from across our application space. The Analytics and Visualization team is a small, startup-like initiative that is self-driven and collaborates widely across the company. The successful candidate will need a flexible attitude, an aptitude for interacting with multiple teams, and a desire to ask and answer meaningful questions through data. This role will contribute at all levels of the product architecture, using a variety of languages and toolchains.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Engineering Manager and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable React components for use across multiple applications
• Implement and consume RESTful web services
• Manage secure and scalable data stores
• Analyze requirements in collaboration with internal teams and external customers
• Research new features and technologies
• Participate in architecture, design, test and deployment reviews
• Monitor usage, fix production issues and maintain the product as needed

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years work experience as a software engineer
• 4+ years experience with C#, Java, C++, Ruby, or any OO programming language
• 4+ years experience with client-side JS frameworks such as React, Angular, JQuery, or Backbone
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience with git, continuous integration and deployment tools

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing highly scalable full-stack web applications
• Experience in KQL, SQL or NoSQL data management
• Experience building and consuming RESTful web-services
• Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks
• Experience with D3 or other data visualization libraries
