DocuSign drives innovation in Winter '19 Release
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its continued commitment to help organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements, DocuSign (NASDAQ:DOCU) today announced the general availability of its Winter '19 Release, showcasing innovation enhancements across the board.
The DocuSign Winter '19 Release includes updates to the company's eSignature solution and its broader System of Agreement Platform—the most significant of which include the release of SpringCM Contract Management, an updated release of DocuSign for Salesforce, enhancements to its 21 CFR Part 11 module for highly regulated industries, and accessibility enhancements for sending and signing.
"The Winter '19 Release follows a year of innovation momentum from DocuSign, anchored around the System of Agreement strategy we announced in June, the SpringCM acquisition we completed in August, and our constant drive to ensure the most comprehensive experience for our 454,000 customers and hundreds of millions of users around the world," explained Ron Hirson, chief product officer at DocuSign.
As part of the acquisition of SpringCM earlier this year, DocuSign now offers SpringCM Contract Management—an all-in-one solution to accelerate and simplify all stages of the agreement process across document generation, redlining, advanced workflows and document management. With the cloud-based offering, users can save time, cut costs and reduce risks by minimizing the reliance on the manual processes traditionally associated with the agreement lifecycle. Contract Management provides the ability to automatically generate agreements from external systems and centralize negotiations with redlining. It also allows for the creation of sophisticated routing and workflows – and the ability to store agreements all in one place.
As part of a continued effort to automate and accelerate agreements, also unveiled today was DocuSign for Salesforce 7.2. The latest release includes envelope configuration enhancements and an improved admin experience for Salesforce Process Builder. These updates will be available on the Salesforce AppExchange for all current Docusign for Salesforce customers.
The enhancements made to the DocuSign Part 11 module help to reduce regulatory risk and remove friction from completing agreements in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulation. The updated capabilities include signature preview, bulk send, and support for signing groups.
Lastly, DocuSign has also improved accessibility support to provide all people equal access to the signing application when using assistive or adaptive technologies. The DocuSign Signing Experience has been updated to include enhanced keyboard navigation and controls, and expanded compatibility with screen readers and browsers in an effort to meet the standards and guidelines of Section 508 and WCAG Level AA.
