Developer Spotlight: Ricky Wang, Microsoft

Ricky Wang is a Program Manager with Microsoft's Cloud Infrastructure and Operations team. His team recently used the DocuSign eSignature API to build a Microsoft Power BI report that highlights trends, such as the average volume of agreements month-to-month and the average cycle time for an envelope or a specific signer. It also provides specific insights, such as a specific signer’s time usage. Leveraging the Azure integration guidance outlined in this DocuSign developer blog post from the Microsoft Build conference to help with their authentication and integration approach, Ricky and team used the DocuSign API to pull envelope and recipient data and store it in a SQL Server database, from which Power BI could then pull the data and transform it into the desired insights and charts.
